Vehicle Technician

Overview

The company is a very well established car repair and MOT garage who has been trading for well over 40 years.  They are a staple in the local community and some of their technicians have been there since the beginning.  They like to keep hold of their staff, they do this by treat them well, and making sure they are well looked after.

 

Due to retirement they are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician, you will be:-

 

• Based from their workshop in Watford
• Working 8.30am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and also every other Saturday morning 8.30am till 1pm
• Providing service and repairs on a wide range of cars and small vans

 

 

Skills / experience needed to be a Vehicle Technician:-

 

• Living within travelling distance to Watford in Hertfordshire
• Good experience working as a Vehicle technician and have great diagnostic experience
• NVQ level 3 in Vehicle maintenance and repairs would be very beneficial but experience is always better
• Having any MOT experience or qualification would be beneficial but is not essential

 

Benefits and salary of a vehicle technician:-

 

• 30-35k basic salary depending on experience
• Some overtime available
