Commercial Laundry Engineer

Overview

Good opportunities to work for a nationwide, family run commercial laundry company that is going through some great expansion this year.  Fresh out of acquiring a smaller regional company they are looking to strengthen their position to be able to provide a quality service to its clients.  They have been running over 15 years and can count some very well know companies as clients.

 

Due to a expansion they are currently looking for a commercial laundry service engineer, you will be:-

 

• Providing service and maintenance on commercial laundry equipment – commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble driers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and some dosing machines
• Working on electrical and gas fired commercial laundry equipment
• Covering the East and West Sussex area down to the coast with some work being coastal kent and Hampshire
• Working with clients such as nursing homes, offices, holiday parks, hotels etc.

 

 

Experience / skills required for a laundry engineer:-

 

• Experience within commercial laundry equipment would be needed
• You would ideally need your CCLNG and CLE1 commercial laundry gas certs or a change over course (COCCLNG1) to work on commercial laundry equipment
• The company would also look at domestic or commercial gas engineers who want to cross over to laundry equipment
• Living in or around the East or West Sussex area close to the coast
• Good electrical competency

 

 

Salary for a Laundry engineer:-

 

• 38k basic salary, 40k basic salary after your 6 month probation period
• Door to door travel pay
• 2k annual performance bonus paid on a quarterly basis
• Van, phone, overtime
• Call out rota for 1 Sunday morning per month (2 hours)
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
