COMCAT Engineer

Overview

The company is a growing commercial catering contractor that works in the commercial catering sector working on gas and electrical commercial catering equipment.  They have a great outlook to work and this spreads to their clients with some long term relationships with well known clients. Their engineers are very happy as they get looked after from day 1.

 

As a commercial catering service engineer (COMCAT) you will be:-

 

• Providing service and maintenance and some installation on electrical and gas fired commercial catering equipment
• Also doing warranty work for a major manufacturer
• Covering London and the greater London area
• Working on electrical and gas fired equipment – ovens, grills, burners, dishwashers, fryers, etc.
• Working with retail groups, larger contractors, well known restaurant chains

 

 

Skills / Experience needed

 

• Service and maintenance experience on gas fired commercial catering equipment would be ideal
• The company would also look at an electrical catering engineer or a commercial dishwasher engineer to train them on the gas side
• COMCAT certs would be beneficial but not essential

• Living in or around the Surrey, Sussex, or south London area ideally

 

Salary / benefits

 

• 38-45k basic salary depending on experience in gas or electrical catering equipment
• Call out rota, O/T
• Van, phone, uniform, specialist tools
