Automatic Doors Engineer

Overview

My client is a long standing and well established company, with over 70 years experience working in automatic doors they are the top of what they do.  They cover all over the UK and can count some very well known clients as customers, one of the many reasons they have such a low staff turnover – both engineers and managers like their job and staying long term is common place.  The fact they are part of a larger group of companies gives them a massive selling point to people as they get all the benefits of being a large company that looks after you.

 

They are recruiting for an automatic doors engineer, you will be:-

 

• Covering the London and home counties area
• Providing service / maintenance and installation on automatic doors (around 60-70% installation)
• Working on swing doors, sliding doors, folding doors, revolving doors and telescopic sliding doors
• Working with commercial client, trade companies, ware houses and some residential customers

 

 

Benefits and salary of an automatic doors engineer:-

 

• 30-32k basic
• Door to door travel pay
• No call out rota for a better work life balance but overtime available
• 21 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

 

 

Skills Needed to be an automatic doors engineer:-

 

• Experience working automatic doors
• Living anywhere in or around the London or M25 area
• CSCS card needed
• If you are a member of the Automatic Door Installation Association that would be beneficial but is not essential
