Air Balancing Engineer

Overview

My client is a well established healthcare ventilation specialist that covering all over the UK and is on the lookout for new engineers to help expansion.  They have over 20 years of perfecting their role for their client and working with hospitals, labs and care homes to make sure that these places are free from pathogens, airborne viruses and potential hazards.  They care about what they do and this means their clients are always looked after.

 

Due to expansion they are recruiting for a Ventilation / Air Balancing engineer, you will be:-

 

• Covering across the midlands area and also coming down into the London and home counties area when needed
• Testing an commissioning, rebalancing,, producing reports, working to CIBSE regulations
• Working with clients across the healthcare sector – labs, hospitals, care homes
• Staying away when needed and working evenings and nights when needed

 

Background and skills needed to be an air balancing engineer:-

 

• Living around the Warwick to Leicester to Northampton  triangle ideally but anyone across the midlands area would be considered
• Experience working on air balancing and rebalancing
• You need to be ok with staying and away and sometimes doing unsociable hours
• Good knowledge of working to CIBSE regulations

 

Salary and Benefits of an air balancing engineer

 

• 33-40k basic salary depending on experience
• Door to door travel pay
• Van, phone, expenses, overtime available
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Quarterly team trips out
• All expenses paid when staying away
